Message from the Campus Chief

Prof. Dr. Hari Prasad Pathak
Campus Chief

It is my great honour to extend a warm welcome to all students, faculty members, researchers, alumni, administrative and support staff, as well as other stakeholders of Prithvi Narayan Campus (PNC). As the largest constituent campus of Tribhuvan University and a pioneer in higher education in Gandaki Province, PNC has been a centre of academic excellence, intellectual inquiry, and research-driven learning for decades.

"Students First, Excellence Always: Building a Brighter Future Together"—this guiding principle reflects our unwavering commitment to student success, academic quality, and institutional growth. In today’s rapidly evolving global environment, higher education institutions must not only impart knowledge but also equip students with critical thinking, practical skills, and ethical values. At PNC, we are dedicated to fostering a student-centric academic environment that aligns with the demands of the 21st century. Our mission is to provide quality education, promote research and innovation, enhance faculty development, and improve infrastructure, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to contribute to society and the global workforce.

One of our key priorities is to upgrade PNC into a certificate-awarding institution, allowing us greater academic autonomy and flexibility in curriculum development and evaluation. Additionally, we are working diligently to reaccredit the campus under the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) framework of University Grants Commission, Nepal, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining high academic standards.

We firmly believe that the strength of an institution lies in its people. Thus, we encourage students to actively participate in academic and extracurricular activities, faculty members to engage in innovative teaching and research, non-teaching staff to contribute through efficient administration and support services, and alumni to aid in the growth and development of their alma mater. Our collective efforts will ensure that PNC continues to be a hub of knowledge, creativity, and excellence.

As we embark on this transformative journey, I invite all stakeholders—students, faculty, non-teaching staff, alumni, researchers, and the community—to collaborate with us in achieving our vision. Together, we can elevate Prithvi Narayan Campus to new heights of academic distinction and institutional prestige.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Let us continue striving for excellence!
